MFM Marks 35 Years, Honours Oseni with Prestigious Financial Compliance Award

Engr. Aderemi Oseni, the lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the National Assembly, has been honoured with the “Most Financial Compliance Award” by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).

The award was presented as part of the ministry’s 35th anniversary and international convention, held from August 16-18, 2024, at Prayer City.

MFM, a globally renowned Christian ministry, celebrated this milestone anniversary with a series of events, including the recognition of outstanding individuals and regions within its global network. Among these awards, the “Most Financial Compliance Award” stands out, highlighting regions that have demonstrated exceptional integrity, accountability, transparency, and adherence to the ministry’s financial procedures and policies.

Oseni, who serves as the Regional Overseer of Lagos Region 32, Ogba, was honoured for his exemplary leadership in ensuring that his region consistently upheld the highest standards of financial compliance. Lagos Region 32 was among the 13 regions within the MFM worldwide family recognised with this prestigious accolade.

In response, Oseni, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), expressed deep appreciation to MFM in a statement released on Sunday, by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, as the ministry marks 35 years of propagating the gospel all over the world and training believers in the art and science of spiritual warfare; thus making them an aggressive and victorious army for the Lord.

The statement read: “This milestone is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the ministry to spiritual growth, community development, and social responsibility. The award highlights our dedication to transparency, accountability, and sound financial practices.

“My purpose in life has always been to serve God Almighty and humanity in every capacity I am entrusted with. Indeed, this recognition is an attestation to living out our values consistently, both in word and deed, we walk the talk everywhere. It is imperative to restate that I remain committed to upholding these values as I continue to serve the people with integrity and diligence.”

He further congratulated MFM on its remarkable journey and extended his best wishes for its continued success in spiritual and humanitarian endeavours.

Oseni also reiterated his pledge to support initiatives that promote financial compliance and ethical governance, which are crucial for the development of society.

The award underscores the commitment of the politician cum clergy to maintaining financial discipline and transparency, reflecting the core values of the MFM ministry. The Chairman, House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. Aderemi Oseni has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Nigerian Tribune newspaper.

In a statement released on Monday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, the lawmaker described the Nigerian Tribune as a beacon of hope, integrity, and truth in the Nigerian media landscape. He commended the publication for its unwavering commitment to championing democracy, social justice, and the empowerment of the common man.

“For 75 years, the Nigerian Tribune has consistently set a high standard in journalism, serving as a reliable source of information and a defender of the people’s rights,” he said.

“Its contribution to nation-building and the preservation of our democratic ideals cannot be overstated.”

Oseni, who represents Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, further lauded the foresight of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the founder of the Nigerian Tribune in 1949, for establishing a media platform dedicated to advancing the interests of Nigerians.

He also recognized the leadership of the current management for upholding the legacy and values of its illustrious founder, ensuring the newspaper remains a trusted voice in the media space.

Oyo Rep, Oseni Donates ₦50m to Sheikh Agbotomokekere Mosque Project

The lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Engr. Aderemi Oseni, on Thursday, donated the sum of fifty million naira (₦50 million) toward the construction of the proposed Sheikh Agbotomokekere Mosque building project.

Oseni joined other dignitaries, religious leaders, and Muslim clerics to honour the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States, His Eminence Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakre Agbotomokekere, during the annual Maolud Nabiyy celebration at the Ibadan Central Mosque, Oja Oba.

It was during the event that he announced the generous donation.

The Maolud Nabiyy celebration, organised by the Al-Imam Agbotomokekere Islamic Foundation, also featured the unveiling of the proposed mosque project and an award presentation ceremony.

Delivering an insightful lecture at the event, the Chief Imam of Ogbomosoland, Dr. Yunus Tolhat Ayilara, who served as the Guest Lecturer, highlighted the importance of perseverance in the face of challenges.

In a statement issued on Friday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, the lawmaker, who also chairs the House Committee on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen the spiritual and social development of his constituency and state.

He commended the Al-Imam Agbotomokekere Islamic Foundation for its dedication to fostering a sense of community through faith, education, and shared values.

According to him, the mosque project symbolises unity and the determination of the people.

Reflecting on the significance of the proposed Agbotomokekere Mosque, the APC chieftain described it as a beacon of unity and religious harmony.
