Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Haneda Airport in Yokohama, Japan for the seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development.
The conference themed ‘Africa and Yokohama, Sharing Passion for the Future’, is billed to take place in the city of Yokohama from August 28 till August 30, 2019.
It is, also expected to focus on Africa’s “economic transformation and improvements in business environment and institution through private investment and innovation; promotion of resilient and sustainable African society for human security; and peace and stability in support of Africa’s domestic proactive efforts.”
Governors of Kwara, Borno, and Lagos states were part of President Buhari’s entourage for the conference.
