“He has displayed uncommon love and kindness towards Ibadan. It is for these and other reasons that we are honouring him today with the most outstanding Friend of Ibadanland award. For the avoidance of doubt, Ibadan is celebrating Chief Sunday Dare today because of the hands of friendship he has been extending to Ibadanland since he became the Minister of Youth and sports Development in 2019”, Soladoye said.

In his response , the Minister appreciated the group for the honour, assuring them that he would continue to work for the progress of Ibadan, Oyo state and Nigeria in general.
