The beneficiaries from the 10 Local Governments in the Oke-Ogun Area of the state got food items and cash gifts to support their businesses.

The Widows Relief Programme, powered by the Foundation is done in line with the Founder’s mission to combat poverty by reaching out to all sectors of the society, particularly the less privileged and indigents.

Speaking at the event on Saturday, Engr Olasunkanmi Tegbe informed that he launched the Foundation over 6 years ago because he felt the need to give back to the society by alleviating the sufferings of the less-privileged, support the aged, indigents and the widows.

He also noted that the foundation is non-partisan in nature, and has assisted thousands of Oyo State indigenes and residents.

Tegbe further assured that he will continue to provide support, just as he encouraged the needy to reach out to the Foundation through the Coordinators in the various local governments.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Executive Director of the Foundation, Mr Femi Adeleke explained that the Foundation has been contributing constructively, effectively and positively to the development of  society, especially in Oyo State for over 6 years.

Prayers were held for the widows by various religious clerics. The event had in attendance religious leaders, council bosses and notable politicians.

The Widows Relief is being held across different zones of the state on a rotational basis. Previous editions have been held in Ibadan and Oyo.
