South Africa vs Nigeria: Super Eagles draw 1-1, qualify for 2019 AFCON

Nigeria have qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, following a 1-1 draw with South Africa on Saturday.

The Super Eagles travelled for the game as group leaders with nine points, with the Bafana Bafana second with eight.

Gernot Rohr’s men went ahead through Samuel Kalu, in what appeared like an own goal before the hosts levelled.

There were no goals in the second half.

In the other game, Libya mauled Seychelles 8-1.

Nigeria host Seychelles in their last fixture of the qualifying series.
