The Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu is currently meeting behind closed-doors with Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
The meeting is coming a few hours after the invasion of the Senate chambers by suspected thugs.
DAILY POST reports that thugs suspected to be loyal to the suspended Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege had invaded the red chambers and forcefully took away the mace.
The meeting is being held inside Osinbajo’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
