Russia, Ukraine Swap 230 Prisoners of War

In a significant diplomatic breakthrough, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced on Saturday that it successfully mediated a prisoner swap between Ukraine and Russia, resulting in the release of 230 captives from both sides.

According to a statement issued by the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the swap was a culmination of extensive diplomatic efforts led by the Emirati government.

“The UAE has successfully mediated a new captives exchange between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine, resulting in the release of 230 captives,” the statement read.
