Oyo: Makinde received N100bn in 7 months, security vote N1bn monthly – Ajimobi’s aide reveals

Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has received about hundred billion naira withing the last seven months according to former Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s aide, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela.
The immediate past Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in the state also alleged that Governor Makinde has increased his security vote from N250 million to N1 billion monthly.
Olowofela disclosed this on Saturday while featuring on a private radio station in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
“The people of Oyo State will soon know the truth about how the finances of Oyo State is being spent. We are not even concerned about that, but that the rightful things should be done”, the APC chieftain added.
Speaking further, the ex-council gaffer described the appointment of Caretaker Chairmen to forcefully takeover the local government councils from the democratically elected Council Chairmen and Councillors   in the state  as an invitation to anarchy, stressing that the APC will resist all forms of impunity by Governor Makinde.
The Don who maintained  that the ‘sacked council chairmen’  still have the mandate of the people, however urged the governor to respect the decision of the Supreme Court in a similar matter.
