FEW days to the much anticipated Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Oyo State, political permutations have increased towards the poll.
Kudos to the electorates who voted for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday, February 23.
Although, the outcome of the election was not a bad result for the APC when compared with the numbers of Political Parties that participated in the exercise.
The February 23 election has come and gone, what is on ground now is the Saturday March 9 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
The victory recorded in Oluyole Federal Constituency by voting for Honourable Tolu Sadipe was as a result of the support given to Governor Abiola Ajimobi led government and my leadership as the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government which can not be taken for granted.
Now, political propagandists are all over the nooks and crannies of the state, but let me assure you that as asserted for Bayo Adelabu and other candidates of the APC is a vote for better Oyo state. Oyo state cannot afford to go back to Egypt time.
Gone were those days when security of this state was porous but for the wisdom of Governor Abiola Ajimobi in collaboration with all the security chiefs in the state, Oyo state is gradually regaining its pace setting status.
As a Council Boss, in the last few years of my administration many projects have been facilitated to the people of Oluyole and Oyo state as a whole.
Why is it a must for Adelabu to emerge?
Oyo state has witnessed monumental leap in development in the last 8yrs. The current administration has invested in billions of naira in infrastructural development. The net effects of the huge investment in infrastructural are glaring to all.
The spate of development witnessed in the last 8 years is unprecedented hence the need for continuity of good governance and say no to Egypt time.
Having served at the Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Bayo Adelabu is a round peg in a round hole as far as the occupant of Agodi Government House is concern for the progress of the state.
Chief Adebayo Adelabu has unveiled his agenda for continuing growth and development of Oyo state through his NEXT LEVEL AGENDA. His manifesto touches all facets through an admixture of fiscal and human development measures.
None of the other candidates possessed the level of experience that Chief Adelabu possesses, especially regarding core issues of governance and public service.
This is why we thought deeply in our party before choosing Adelabu Adebayo as our candidate and our next Governor in Oyo state. He is the most experienced amongst all the candidates, and he is young and vibrant. What has clearly differentiated Adelabu from the rest is his AGENDA. We are blessed to have him.
Our party has done well in Oyo state ,to the disappointment and detriment of naysayers. In fact ,most of our projects have been next level in nature. This is why you have to vote in someone who has the experience and clout to understand these things and take it up even further.
The people of Oyo state must not miss it this time, as APC led government is committed to the welfare of the people through lofty programmes.
The APC has emerged at the federal, let do the same at the state level so as to continue to witness more dividends of democracy in Oyo state.
It is imperative for electorates in the state to note that any decision they make on March 9 polls will surely determine the fate of the state in the next Four years.
Therefore, I urge you to vote for Abdulwaheed Adebayo Adelabu, the Son of late political icon, Alhaji Adegoke Adelabu and other candidates of the APC in Oyo state so that we can all move to the Next level of greater achievements.
