Oyo Assembly Pays Condolence Visit To Late Olatoye’s Family

The Oyo State House Of Assembly joined other eminent personalities and political associates who paid a condolence visit to the family of late Honourable Temitope Olatoye Sugar on Thursday in Ibadan.

Hon Olatoye who was representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency was killed on Saturday March 9 after performing his civic responsibilities in the governorship and state house of Assembly elections.

The delegations led by the Speaker, Honourable Olagunju Ojo was at the Alakia residence of the parent of the late lawmaker, Olatoye.

According to Hon Olagunju, the vacuum left behind by the deceased will be difficult to fill, but prayed to God to give the family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The number one legislator in the state, Olagunju also described the late lawmaker as a grassroot politician who had contributed positively to the development of the Akinyele- Lagelu federal constituency.

During his legislative activities at the 7th Oyo Assembly, it is on record that late Honourable Temitope Olatoye Sugar gave proper representation to the people of Lagelu state constituency.

The late federal lawmaker is survived by his parent, brothers, wives and children.
