Oyo APC guber candidate, Adelabu asks security agencies to support Makinde

The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Oyo state, Chief Adebayo Adelabu on Tuesday tasked security agencies to accord the Engr. Seyi Mankind’s administration the same support given Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

Adelabu, who chairs the Oyo State Security Trust Fund (OYSSTF) stated this at the handing over of ten patrol vans to the state Joint Security Task Force, code named ‘Operation Burst’ and fire fighting kits to the state’s fire service.

The ex- CBN Deputy Governor said if Makinde failed to sustain Ajimobi’s legacy of peace and security, it will amount to taking the state back to its inglorious era.

According to him, Ajimobi’s achievements in the state, in terms of ensuring peace, was unequalled in the history of the state, evidenced by the low level of crime, major robbery incidents compared to past years and booming nightlife.
