Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North West Local Government, Mr Toyese Oladejo has condemned those accusing the Party and its Governorship Candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu on the orgy of political violence in state.

Oladejo, in a statement issued in Iseyin at the continuation of the party’s state wide campaign maintained that the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and the Governorship candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu are peace lovers who would not tolerate acts of brigandage.

He averred that the politically motivated violence in some of the party’s rallies were masterminded by the opposition.

“It is crystally clear that the skirmishes at some of our rallies were caused by our opponents who were surprised by the mammoth crowd that always thronged our rallies at the shortest possible times. It is unrational and illogical for our party to cause crisis where we are the one holding tallies”,he insisted.

The Party Chieftain stated further that while the APC was busy campaigning vigorously for votes across the state, the opposition were engaging in unwarranted blackmailing and rumour mongering.

He, therefore, urged the electorate and the general public to disregard the allegation, stressing that they are only afraid of imminent huge electoral loss.

Oladejo further called on the electoral umpire to conduct free and fair polls saying ‘the APC believes in one man,one vote”. He, also charged the over 2 Million Oyo state voters to vote massively for all the party’s Candidates including Chief Adebayo Adelabu
