As a critical person by nature, l do not take things on the surface value, so I wish to state that my assessment of all the candidates is done through objectivity and fairness that is centred on critical, analytical, integrative and big-picture thoughts of the major candidates that are aspiring to represent me and the good people of lbarapa East /Ido Federal Constituency.
I based my assessment on their antecedents, prospect and the needs of our constituency for good and effective representation. In doing this, my observation is that the three (3 ) major candidates are of three (3) different times in the political developmental and historical trajectory of the constituency.
Two have been voted in the past and we’ve seen how far they’ve showcased their worth through what they’ve brought and attracted to the constituency, of them all, Aderemi Oseni is the best candidate of the present.
He understands the past of the constituency very well, both politically and otherwise. The undeniable fact is that if anyone will effectively and efficiently represent us at this crucial time, the person must possess the capacity, character, competence and commitment to do things differently.
We are tired of electing those that come once every four (4) years to toast us by doing clerical jobs to garner votes. Simply put, Oseni understands where we are coming from, with the knowledge of our present needs and foresight for the future.
The politics of the National Assembly is such that involves a high level of lobbying and Political engagements, that are far beyond intentions. We need and got Remi Oseni that has the technical know-how. He has demonstrated his total preparedness for overall development through his transformation and pathfinding developmental projects in the areas of community development, youth and widow empowerment, financial support for small business owners, health and educational interventions, and encouraging harmonious relationships between various faith and ethnic groups among others across the length and breadth of the constituency.
Also, we need to consider the academic and administrative management capacity of Oseni, you will agree with me that he is ready for the future developmental yearnings of the constituency.
Summarily, lbarapa East/Ido Federal constituency no doubt is so much way behind when we talk about representation at the national and state assemblies and the attraction of both federal and state governments toward the developmental challenges of the constituency.
For instance, look at the only road that connects Ibadan to Ibarapa, l believe you will agree with me that with the full-fledged quality representation that Engr Aderemi Oseni will bring forth as a federal representative, lbarapa East / Ido Federal Constituency will never remain the same.
