Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin who is also the son of the late Ibarapa business mogul and philanthropist, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin on Monday emerged the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker.
Ogundoyin, , a member of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, representing Ibarapa East State constituency emerged unopposed and with the unanimous voice vote of the 32-member assembly.
Also, the lawmaker representing Ona Ara State Constituency, Akinola Adekunle Alabi was elected the deputy speaker.
Other principal officers include, Hon Sanjo Adedoyin (Majority Leader), Hon Asimiyu Alarape (Mìnority Leader), Hon Akeem Adedibu (Chief Whip), Olasunkanmi Babalola (Deputy Majority Leader) and Hon Adebisi Yusuff (Deputy Chief Whip)
