The Ogun State Signage and Advertising Agency, (OGSAA) has apprehended two fraudulent revenue collectors who masquerade as duly certified third-party agents of the Agency to defraud clients.
According to the General Manager, Ogun State Signage and Advertising Agency, Mr. Fola Onifade, who confirmed the development last Wednesday, also identified the arrested agents as Ayeyemi Gbenga Lanre and Egunjobi Samson.
He explained that fake revenue collectors were nabbed by the anti-fraud unit of the agency after receiving calls from a client.
Onifade noted that many agents who had been engaged in the past but later disengaged for fraudulent acts still parade themselves as agents, coupling money from clients.
The OGSAA boss, however, cautioned clients to be suspicious whenever any agent requests that money be paid into their personal account, adding that the official line of the agency is available for complaints and observations from the clients and entire public.
He allayed the fear of customers and clients, stressing that the agency has put in great efforts to ensure all perpetrators of evil are brought to book and made to face the wrath of the law.
