A female member of the House of Representatives, Boma Goodhead from Rivers State has asked the DSS men laying siege at the National Assembly to shoot her.
The lawmaker who arrived the National Assembly at about 8.am approached the masked security men and shouted “I want the bullets to start coming. Let them shoot. You should start shooting me now. If you don’t shoot, then you don’t know your work.”
The Rivers lawmaker shouted for several minutes, saying it was against the tenets of democracy for the security men to behave that way.
Meanwhile, more lawmakers have thronged to the National Assembly gate to condemn the action by the DSS men.
