THE ancient city of Ibadan and the political headquarters of the Southwest on Wednesday witnessed an unprecedented number of dignitaries who came to bid the late Chairman , National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde popularly known as Fele farewell.

Oyerinde who fought with death and lost the battle yesterday in Abuja was buried at his Elebu residence, Ibadan, the Oyo state capital amidst wailing and sobbing by scores of friends, family members and sympathizers .
Thousands of people, members of the union, both high and low trooped out, including popular Lagos socialite, Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, state chairmen from other states and executive members were also around to pay their last respect to the departed union leader.
Dignitaries whom described the late Union leader, Oyerinde as a responsible and genial personality also commended his peace making efforts.
