Ikolaba, Jagun Titles: Oseni Cheers Folarin, Sanusi for Chieftaincy Promotions

 

 

Member representing Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency at the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Aderemi Oseni, on Saturday conveyed his congratulations to Senator Teslim Folarin and Chief Dotun Sanusi for their recent elevation to the prestigious Ikolaba and Jagun titles, respectively.

Oseni also extended his felicitations to other distinguished Ibadan chiefs who received promotions during this auspicious occasion.

Sen. Folarin, the former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), transitioned from his prior position as Asaaju Olubadan to the esteemed Ikolaba title.

Also,, Chief Sanusi, a prominent businessman in Ibadan, ascended from the rank of Mogaji to Jagun.

In a statement released on Saturday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, and subsequently shared with the press in Ibadan, Oseni, who serves as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), lauded the newly elevated chiefs for their unwavering dedication and outstanding service to the Ibadan land, Oyo state and Nigeria.

He praised Folarin and Sanusi for their outstanding contributions to the development of Ibadan and the overall socio-economic advancement of the state.

“ It, indeed, gladdens my heart that your contributions to Ibadan land, Oyo State and Nigeria have been further acknowledged and celebrated”, the statement emphasised .

The lawmaker, while recognising the long-standing tradition of the Ibadan chieftaincy lineage, expressed his wishes for continued success and leadership excellence in their new roles, while also hoping that God would guide them with wisdom to make lasting positive impacts on their communities and the entire Ibadan land.
