Hope rekindled in Oyo, as Buhari moves to distribute 150 wheelchairs to persons with disability {Photos}

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari representing Oyo North Senatorial District has again, rekindled the hope of his constituents as no fewer than One hundred and fifty (150) Wheelchairs would be donated to the physically challenged constituents to enhance their mobility.

The event , as contained in a statement issued by his media office on Thursday is billed for Saturday 17th April, 2021 at Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ago-Are (BASEGA), Atisbo Local Government area of Oyo State.

According to the statement, Senator Buhari informed that he had to shift the paradigm of his empowerment styles to the physically challenged persons so that they can also have a sense of belonging.

The APC chieftain explained that the constituents were selected from the 13 local government areas in Oyo North Senatorial District.

“The items are strictly for those constituents in my senatorial district who cannot stand up not to talk of walking. With the Wheel Chairs, at least the mobility will become easier and faster”, he noted.

The lawmaker further assured that others who are suffering from other challenges will also be empowered.

He called on philanthropists to offer themselves to serving God through the physically challenged persons and do things that will make life worthy of living for them.

Senator Buhari, however reassured his commitment towards impacting positively on the lives of his constituents irrespective of their religion and political faith
