Ekiti 2018: INEC releases list of governorship candidates

AHEAD of the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the full list of all the aspirants that will participate in the election.

The shortlisted candidates emerged from their party’s primaries, which was held ahead of the July 14, slated for the election.

The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, had emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while the present deputy governor of the state, Professor Kolapo Olusola, is the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the election.
