The South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA 2.0) has concluded arrangements to commence a two-day sensitisation and mobilisation programme in support of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Akure, Ondo State.

The group disclosed that activities would begin on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, with a courtesy visit to the Deji of Akure, ahead of a mega summit scheduled for Wednesday, April 8.

According to the organisers, the summit would attract prominent personalities from government, political circles, and stakeholders across the country.

Speaking in a statement, the National Secretary of the group, Barr. Bosun Oladele, said the initiative was designed to deepen public awareness of the policies and achievements of the current administration.

The statement said, “The summit marks the commencement of our sensitisation and mobilisation programme in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. It will provide a platform to highlight key achievements of the Federal Government and engage stakeholders on national development.”

Oladele added that the event would also focus on political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“Participants will deliberate on the political situation in the country and chart a strategic path forward as we prepare for future electoral engagements. Our objective is to strengthen support and promote informed discussions on governance”, he stressed.

According to him, delegates from states across Nigeria where SWAGA 2.0 operates are expected to attend the two-day summit.

He further noted, “The visit to the Deji of Akure is part of our tradition of paying respect to traditional institutions while fostering unity and collaboration in advancing the administration’s programmes.”
