2019: Why Oyo needs experienced politician like me – Ex-governor, Alao-Akala

Former Governor of Oyo State and gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Chief Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, on Tuesday insisted that the state was in dire need of an experienced politician like him.

Alao-Akala, while speaking with journalists in Ibadan, the state capital, said, “the state needs an experienced and tested leader” like him to continue the developmental progress.

The former governor promised to hit the ground running immediately after the swearing in and continue moving the state forward.

The ADP gubernatorial candidate declared that for Oyo State to continue with the pace of the on going development in the state, the state needed to have an experienced, tested and trusted hand like him as the next governor come 2019.

Alao-Akala said, “Most of these young politicians now aiming to become the governor of Oyo State lack the needed experience to govern the state.

“I know what it takes to be the governor of Oyo state. I have been there as a governor, I will hit the ground running immediately after the swearing in and continue moving the state forward.”

Alao-Akala further advised the electorate to make judicious use of their voters’ card by voting for him in the 2019 gubernatorial election.
