ZINEDINE ZIDANE is set to green light a swoop for Eden Hazard, according to reports in Spain.

The Real Madrid chief is due to hold transfer talks with president Florentino Perez this week as the pair plot their moves for 2018.

And Mundo Deportivo claim Chelsea superstar Hazard tops the Frenchman’s shopping list ahead of the Abu Ahabi chat.

His BBC combination of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo has won him two Champions League titles.

But Zidane may want to shake things up after a sluggish start to the season highlighted their shortcomings.

He has spoken highly of the Belgian international in the past – and the feeling is mutual.

On Zidane, Hazard told Belgian TV channel RTL: “Everyone knows the respect I have for Zidane as a player, but also as a manager. He was my idol.

“I do not know what will happen in the future. However, for sure, to play under Zidane would be a dream.”

The Belgian has not always appeared happy at Stamford Bridge but his form has improved under Antonio Conte.

And after last night’s 3-1 win over Huddersfield, he beamed: “We had a bad game against West Ham. When things happen like this we need to bounce back.

“There was fantastic movement from the front three. Well, when you have the players we have.

“The manager wants us to move a lot, not stay in the same position. We scored three goals, the fans will be happy.”
