The Chairman of Dollar Construction, Idowu Lamidi, has congratulated Dr. Zaccheus Adedeji on his appointment as the Acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Monday, the Construction guru described Adedeji’s appointment as the right peg in the right hole, adding that he would bring his experience of decades to bear in his new national assignment.

He lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying all the appointments he has made so far are indications of what he wants to achieve and finding the best hands that would make his job easier.

The Oyo-born businessman whose company owns the Dollar Estate in Ibadan said Zaccheus is a very intelligent man who will turn around the FIRS.

In his words, “Many of us were not surprised when the announcement came, we were aware of what he achieved as the Commissioner for Finance under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi. He is a brilliant man, and he has proved what he is capable of doing at all times.

“We are happy that President Bola Tinubu is a promise-keeper, and he is generous to us in Oyo State. No one can fault any of his appointments because these are qualified people. I wish Mr. Adedeji the best and also call on God Almighty to always be with him),” Lamidi said.
