The state’s commissioner of Police, Isaac Akinmoyede, who gave the assurance also explained that adequate measures have been put in place to secure lives and properties as a total of 3,500 policemen will be deployed for yuletide operations.
Imo State Police Command also paraded 14 suspects allegedly involved in various criminal offenses ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, murder, cultism and unlawful possession of firearms.
Parading the suspects at the command headquarters in Owerri, the state capital, the CP Akinmoyede, said the command remains committed in its resolve to fight crime and criminality in the state.
