Yoruba Youth Council, (YYC) Oyo state chapter, on Thursday commiserated with the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji over the death of his wife, Olori Kudirat Aduke Adetunji.
The group’s Chairman, Otunba Olukayode Adebayo in a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Lekan Shobo Shobowale described the sudden demise of the late Olori as shocking. The statement also stated that “Olori Kudirat lived a fulfilled life even though she left when less expected, still her memory will continue to linger in the minds of her admirers.”
The statement added that the “deceased will forever be remembered for her contributions and efforts in the development of Ibadan land.”
The group called for prayer and support for Oba Saliu Adetunji, the children of the deceased and entire family of late Olori Kudirat at this time of their loss and also pray for the repose of her soul.
