Yoruba group to hold summit in Ibadan January 21

The Yoruba Patriots Movement, (YPM) has announced its plan to hold an all inclusive Pan Yoruba Summit.

The summit organized by YMP under the leadership of the revered and distinguished Yoruba patriot, Chief Oladosu Oladipo as its National Coordinator will be held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan on the 21st January, 2021.

Contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of the Planning Committee; Comrade Adeboye Adebayo in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital after one of its meetings on Saturday and made available to newsmen, the Summit has as its theme: ‘Yoruba Nation Yesterday, Yoruba Nation Today & Yoruba Nation Tomorrow’ and all Yoruba men, women, old, young, youths, students that want socio economic growth & development in all ramifications living in all Yoruba speaking States, Cities and communities including Kwara, Kogi, Edo, Delta and beyond the shores of Nigeria are to attend the summit.

The summit, according to the statement, will deliberate robustly and come up with practicable, workable and indeed patriotic outline of solutions for implementation so as to make Yoruba Nation attain its rightful and eviable position in the interest of our dear country, Nigeria.

Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Opinion Leaders, Academia, Political Leaders, Captain of Industries, Businessmen & Women, Students and Leaders from Diaspora have all agreed to be part of the summit.

“The Summit has no political party colouration, rather an agenda to put Yoruba in its rightful position in the scheme of things around the World and adequate plans are in top gear to make the summit a memorable and a successful one that will make Nigeria greater”, the statement concluded.
