Veteran Actress, Chief Abiodun Duro-Ladipo has commended the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for reviving arts, culture and good values in the state.
The wife of the late Nigerian iconic actor, playwright, musicologist and thunderking of theatre, Duro Ladipo stated this while playing host to the newly appointed Director-General of the Ekiti Council of Arts and Culture, Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, in her ‘Bodeaasimi house’, Ibadan on Saturday.
Duro Ladipo, also described Governor Fayemi as a God-sent to restore the lost glory of the state and reposition her for speedy development.
She further disclosed her readiness to support the Fayemi led administration in promoting the rich arts and cultural values of the state, while also making artistic contributions toward achieving the Governor’s cultural promotions in the state.
Earlier in his address, Ojo-Lanre described Ekiti State as a paragon of culture, stressing that Governor Fayemi is committed to the repositioning and revitalisation of the Culture and Arts sectors in the state.
