University of Maiduguri Lecturer Found Dead In His Office

Tragedy struck the University of Maiduguri as the Department of Physical and Health Education mourns the untimely demise of one of its lecturers, Abdulkadir Kamar.

The lecturer was discovered lifeless in his office, sending shockwaves through the academic community.

Confirmation of the distressing event came through a press release issued late on Monday by Danjuma Gambo, the University’s Director of Radio and Public Relations.

Gambo expressed deep sorrow over the loss and assured the public of a thorough investigation by law enforcement and security agencies to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Kamar’s death.

In his statement, Gambo urged both staff and students of the institution to maintain calm and continue with their regular activities.

He reassured parents, guardians, and stakeholders of the safety of the university campus, emphasising that it remains a secure environment for education, learning, and community engagement.
