The University, speaking through the Undergraduate Admissions Officer, Mrs. Morenike Afolabi, described the fake information as the antics of the scammers who are scheming to defraud and extort the candidates.
The fake information trending claimed that University of Ibadan has extended the dates of its screening to October 4 and 5, adding that candidates will, for the first time, be tested on current affairs.
Mrs. Afolabi, also advised the candidates to concentrate on their preparations as the screening will take place as earlier scheduled and the screening will be based on the four subjects they took at UTME.
“Candidates should not give anybody money or pay money into any private account, scammers are desperate to rip off unsuspecting candidates”, the University warned .
