UI Promotes Oyo Deputy Governor’s Wife, 18 Others To Professor

The University of Ibadan, has promoted the wife of the Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Amudalat Olaniyan and 18 others to professorial cadre.

This was made known by a release by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka.

The statement reads, “At its meeting held on Friday, 20th December 2019, the Appointments and Promotions Committee for Academic Staff at the University of Ibadan has announced the promotion of 19 of its academic staff to the professorial cadre. Nine were promoted to the grade of full Professor and the remaining 10 to the grade of Reader.”
