The Appointments and Promotions Committee for Academic Staff at the University of Ibadan (UI) has announced the promotion of 22 members of staff to the professorial cadre.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Abel Idowu Olayinka who made this announcement on Wednesday also informed that the appointment confirmed eight to the grade of Professor and 14 to the grade of Reader (Associate Professor).
While congratulating the newly promoted staff, the VC charged them to distinguish themselves for the future.
