UCTH resident doctor, Akpan allegedly commits suicide

Crystal Akpan, a resident doctor working with the Cardiology Department of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), has allegedly committed suicide.

Sources informed that the young medical doctor took his life by ingesting a chemical substance suspected to be Sniper.

Although , reason for his action is unknown, however, an unconfirmed report disclosed that Dr. Akpan may have taken his life after failing a professional exam which he had written for some years without success.

The deceased was married with three kids.
