A political group mobilising for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu presidency in 2023 – the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), on Sunday condoled with the family of Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, Ajagungbade III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland over his death, describing it as a monumental loss.
The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oyewumi, died on Sunday in his palace in Ogbomoso, Oyo State at the age of 95.
While expressing sadness over the death of the monarch, the group in Oyo state described the late Oba Oyewumi’s love for Ogbomosoland as second to none.
The Tinubu Support Organisation , in a statement by its state coordinator, Alhaji Ambali Abiodun, noted that the late Soun served his community, state and the nation creditably
“From him we all evolved and onto him we shall all return. We identify with all Ogbomoso sons and daughters on the demise of our father, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade , the Soun of Ogbomoso Land.
“We pray God for the repose of his soul”, the statement read.
TSO, however expressed sincere sympathy with the family, friends, and colleagues of the late monarch, urging them to take heart.
“God will comfort you at this time of sorrow”, the statement continued.
