Tinubu Initiates 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Fund

President Bola Tinubu made a significant announcement on Wednesday, launching the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Fund amidst the dignified ambiance of the council chamber.

In his address, the president conveyed the nation’s deep gratitude to its valiant soldiers who have fearlessly risen to the task of safeguarding the country.

He underscored the immeasurable debt of gratitude that the nation owed to these heroes.

Speaking further, Tinubu emphasised the government’s unwavering commitment to supporting the families of the fallen heroes of the Nigerian armed forces.

An impressive 18 billion naira had been approved to provide Group Life Assurance benefits to these families.

This act served as a testament to the nation’s recognition of the immense sacrifices made by these courageous men and women in uniform and the government’s dedication to ensuring their well-being.
