Thibaut Courtois has insisted he is not thinking about signing a new deal to stay at Chelsea and will wait until the end of the season to discuss a new contract with the club.
The Chelsea goalkeeper is under contract until 2019, but reports claimed in October Courtois was refusing to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Courtois is Chelsea’s undisputed No.1 stopper, but has consistently been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Ahead of Chelsea’s away game at Qarabag, the goalkeeper revealed he was not thinking about signing a new deal.
He said: ‘The most important thing is to perform the best.
‘The contract, Chelsea must deal with my agent but I don’t think there are any developments.
‘There are so many games that I need to think about my own performances.
‘Then at the end of the season there is time for talks.’
Real Madrid has been mentioned as a possible destination for Courtois, although the Spanish giants have also been heavily linked with Manchester United star David de Gea.
Courtois has won two Premier League titles with Chelsea and is considered one of the best ‘keepers in the world.
The 25-year-old has already spent plenty of time in Spain having won La Liga with Atletico Madrid in his extensive loan spell there.
Courtois’ attention is on the Champions League clash on Wednesday night in Baku.
Chelsea can secure their spot in the knockout stages by beating Qarabag and could leapfrog group leaders Roma, should the Italians drop points in their game against Atletico Madrid.
