Top Stories Suspension Of Ruga: Gani Adams Hails FG’s Decision Published 7 years ago on July 3, 2019 By admin The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams on Wednesday described the suspension of Ruga by the Buhari led federal government as a welcome development, saying that Nigerians have shown by their reactions that they would not support a policy that would tear the country apart. Adams stressed that the federal government did well by listening to the outcry of the people because that policy according to him was anti-people and anti-South. He added that it was a policy that would have resulted to a breakup of the country, noting that since government came up with the obnoxious policy, the polity had been heated up. The Aare Onakakanfo, also disclosed that the international community did not welcome the policy and Nigerians in diaspora also rejected it. He pointed out that anybody that had supported Ruga must be a land grabber.
