S’court judgement: Sen. Buhari felicitates with Oyo ALGON, tasks APC to ensure adherence by Makinde

Abdulfatai Buhari. representing Oyo North Senatorial District has felicitated with the Prince Abass Aleshinloye-led ALGON in the state on its favourable judgement gotten from Supreme Court today.

Sen. Buhari, in a statement issued  and made available to newsmen shortly after the judgement  noted that he was not amazed by the judgement because he believed strongly in Nigeria judiciary as the last hope of common man.

While felicitating with the sacked local governments elected officials over their victory at the supreme Court, the lawmaker urged Governor Seyi Makinde to comply with the orders of the Apex court without any delay.

He commended the patience, perseverance and commitments of the ALGON, Oyo State Chapter on the matter, just as he opined that leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State are peace loving and law abiding citizens.

He further enjoined the Seyi Makinde – led Oyo state government to learn from his illegal conducts that led to the dissolution of elected officials of local government just because of his personal interest.

He, once again urged members of the Oyo APC to remain calm as efforts would be intensified to ensure that the law takes its shape as passed by the Supreme Court.

Senator Buhari, however noted that the joy of the judgement was that the illegality of Governor Makinde was revealed.
