Felicitating with Muslim faithful across the state on this year’s Sallah celebration, Akintunde, the ADC chieftain said Muslims should appreciate God for the opportunity to witness another celebration.

The ex- commissioner further reminded Muslims that Eid-el-Kabir is a celebration of outstanding faith of Prophet Ibrahim as well as God’s mercy for replacing a human sacrifice with a ram.

According to him, Muslims should continue to make efforts to please Allah by exhibiting great faith in Him and by obeying His instructions, stressing that it is sure that such virtues will attract Allah’s great mercy. This, he said, is the lesson Muslims must hold dearly as they celebrate this year’s Sallah.

The ADC governorship aspirant urged Muslims to pray for Nigeria and Oyo State in particular as the nation prepares to choose new set of political leaders next year.

Continuing, Akintunde also explained that ADC is the only credible alternative party in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

He encouraged them to support only godly leaders, stressing that they are the type the state and Nigeria need this time.
