Youths in Taraba state have staged a protest regarding the plan by the Federal Government to establish Ruga settlement in the state.
The young persons who took to the streets of Taraba could be seen displaying placards with various inscriptions which include: ‘no land for ruga settlement in Taraba’ and ‘Enough is Enough’ respectively among others.
They argued that rather than set up Ruga settlements, the government should tackle Tiv/Jukun crisis, and kidnappings in the state.
