The Remi Oseni Committee of Friends, (ROCOF), has set a membership target of 500,000 before the end of 2025 to mobilise massive grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the return of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to power in Oyo State.

Its founder and lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency, Hon. Aderemi Oseni, disclosed this on Sunday during the inaugural general meeting of ROCOF’s Ibarapa East local government chapter held at Eruwa.

Oseni said over 200,000 members have already been registered across the state’s 33 local governments, describing ROCOF as a fast-growing political force committed to grassroots mobilisation, empowerment, and advocacy.

He stated, “We are not just a political support group, we are a grassroots movement working to deliver Oyo State for President Tinubu in 2027 and to bring APC back to Agodi Government House.”

The lawmaker charged members to intensify mobilisation at the community level and take the message of ROCOF’s six-point agenda from “house to house, street to street, and village to village.”

The agenda, according to the Chairman, House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), includes delivering Oyo for Tinubu, returning APC to power in the state, empowering members, supporting market men and women, promoting youth development, and advocating for justice for imprisoned politicians.

Oseni also encouraged members to contest elective positions in 2027, assuring them of the group’s full support and political backing, while noting that ROCOF would continue to create opportunities for political participation.

He called on all members to see the task ahead as urgent and crucial, stating, “This is a divine mandate, and we must act with unity and determination to achieve our collective vision for Oyo and Nigeria.”
