MegaIconFOOTBALLERS aren’t all that different to us after all.
A doting parent is a doting parent – high profile stars just have a much bigger budget to play with.
As players continue to share more of their lives with us on social media, one trend has become clear… they love their kids.
We all like to share snaps of our kids, especially when we’re having fun on holiday or at a birthday party.
The only difference between us and Premier League stars is that while we’re struggling through miserable rain at a caravan park, these kids are soaking up sun in Dubai and the US.
And why not? We’d do the same if we could.
Cristiano Ronaldo
The Real Madrid star’s oldest son, Cristiano Jr, is definitely a ‘mini-me’ version of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
It’s not just the clothes and the poses, the seven-year-old even trains and plays like the Portuguese superstar.
Jose Mourinho
The Special One’s kids may be all grown up… but that only means they’re able to go and do what they want.
Both Matilde, 21, and Jose Jr, 18, grew up in Kensington, West London, going to private school.
The siblings are hugely interested in fashion and increasingly share images when they’re out and about in the West End, or soaking up the sun in exotic locations.
John Terry
The former Chelsea and England captain has twins, 12-year-olds Summer and Georgie, and loves getting away with them and wife Toni any chance he can.
Dubai is a favoured destination, with JT a regular visitor at the ‘seven star’ Burj Al Arab hotel.
Andy Carroll
The West Ham striker has three kids with The Only Way is Essex star Billi Mucklow, sons Arlo and Lucas and daughter Emilie.
The family often share snaps of their holidays, from Dubai to skiing in the Alps.
Radamel Falcao
The Colombian, before his injury-savaged decline, was the highest-paid player in the Premier League when he first arrived at Manchester United.
The Monaco striker clearly adores his three daughters and often posts pictures with them – and recently bought a pony.
Raheem Sterling
The Manchester City star, aged 23, has two toddlers – daughter Melody and son Thiago.
Both kids are often seen decked out in designer clothes, with Gucci being a favourite.
Jack Wilshere
The Arsenal man, embroiled in a contract row with the Gunners, has two kids.
Delilah and Archie were both spotted looking smart at Wilshere’s wedding to Andriani Michael last summer.
Sergio Ramos
The Real Madrid skipper has two sons – Sergio Jr and Marco – with Spanish TV presenter Pilar Rubio.
The power couple, who are both huge stars in Spain, enjoy getting away to the beach when they can.
Wayne Rooney
Former England skipper and wife Colleen are definite sun chasers.
Their three sons, Kit, Kai and Klay are always decked out in the latest Nike gear, thanks to Wazza’s long-term deal with the sportswear giant.
Neymar
The PSG superstar has one son, Davi, and is often spotted spoiling the blond boy.
Davi, 6, even has his own Instagram page… with 1.2MILLION followers.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Arsenal new boy is one of the most lavish players in the Premier League, owning a fleet of supercars worth more than £1million and a large collection of jewellery and expensive watches.
Th Gabonese star has two sons – and he often decks them out in Moschino, Gucci and Louis Vuitton clobber.
Cesc Fabregas
Like former Chelsea team-mate John Terry, Cesc Fabregas – and his wife Daniella Semaan – are both lovers of Dubai.
The Blues midfielder has three children and two step-kids, and his brood are never seen looking less than dapper.
Lionel Messi
Barcelona superstar and wife Antonella Roccuzzo are always pictured with their kids, Thiago, Ciro and Mateo.
As one of the world’s most famous people, Messi opts for spectacular isolation when he pics is holidays.
Luis Suarez
Messi is also frequently seen with strike partner Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan star’s wife, Sofia Balbi, has struck up a close friendship with Antonella Roccuzzo, as have their kids.
Sergio Aguero
Benjamin Aguero comes from great stock – his father is Manchester City hitman Sergio and his maternal grandfather is… Diego Maradona.
If he doesn’t make it to the pros, something has gone very wrong.
Gerard Pique
Spanish star Pique has two kids with Colombian pop star Shakira, Milan and Sasha.
With their parents holding an estimated net worth of more than £200million, the two boys won’t have to worry too much about their futures.
Marcelo
Big-haired Real Madrid defender Marcelo has two sons, Enzo and Liam, as well as a pack of pets – five dogs and a cat fill his Madrid mansion.
His two boys have hair well on their way to matching their dad’s, while they are also often caught rocking Adidas.
Thiago Silva
Childhood sweethearts Thiago and Belle have two boys, Isago and Iago, aged nine and seven.
Disneyland – Paris and Orlando – is a favourite of the boys, who are pictured there frequently.
Wilfried Zaha
The Crystal Palace winger is another star who likes to dress his son up in designer gear.
Wilf clearly dotes on Leo, posting lots of selfies and videos together – he even bought him a matching Mercedes (pictured above).
