REVEALED: The most televised English football clubs this season – and the champions don’t even make top three

Arsenal are the most televised English football club this season.

When the final whistle blows on the 2017/18 campaign, the Gunners will have had at least 47 games broadcast live in all competitions, more than any other club.

That’s not including the last game of the Premier League season, which has yet to be decided.

Surprisingly though, Arsene Wenger’s final home game in charge at the Emirates against relegation-threatened Huddersfield will not be screened by Sky with Chelsea and Liverpool taking the top billing on Super Sunday.

Regardless of which teams get picked for the last day, Arsenal can’t be caught in the broadcasting league.

Manchester United will have the next highest number of televised games by the end of the season – 45.

United and Arsenal are both tied at the top of the Premier League table for most televised games with 28 apiece. Again, those figures
could increase depending on which game is picked for broadcast on the last day of the season.

Tottenham and Chelsea are the next most televised sides at 42 games followed by Liverpool with 41 and Manchester City with 40.
Seventh place Burnley have been broadcast live fewer times than any other Premier League club this season – six times.

In fact, the Clarets haven’t made it onto our television sets in any other competitions meaning that they’ve been televised the same number of times as Middlesbrough and three times fewer than West Brom who are propping up the table.
