The House of Representatives has voiced its frustration over the absence of service chiefs and Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, at a scheduled interactive session on Thursday.
Instead, representatives were sent in their place.
Last week, the House had planned a sectoral debate involving the security chiefs, akin to discussions scheduled for other sectors.
Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu, citing a constitutional point of order, led the House to reject the representatives and subsequently postponed the session.
The engagement is now rescheduled for Tuesday next week, with the House insisting on the mandatory appearance of the service chiefs, including Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.
