Rep Oseni Mourns Oyo APC Chair, Omodewu

The lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Engr. Aderemi Oseni, on Monday, commiserated with members of his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, over the death of its Chairman, Barrister Isaac Omodewu.

He said the deceased was a pillar of strength and a beacon of dedication within the APC.

The APC leader passed away in the United States of America, a tragic event that has left the political community in Oyo State and beyond in mourning.

In a statement released earlier today by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, in Ibadan and made available to journalists, the Chairman, House Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), noted that Omodewu’s sudden death is a significant loss not only to the party but to the entire state, highlighting the void left by his passing.

“Your death came as a surprise to everyone, and this has indeed cast a shadow over the political scene in our dear Oyo State. As one of the major stakeholders in this state’s politics, you will forever be missed,” Oseni said.

He continued, “Barrister Isaac Omodewu was a distinguished leader whose commitment to the progress of Oyo State and the APC was unwavering. His demise is a devastating blow to us all. I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and most especially, the leadership and members of our great party during this difficult time.”

The lawmaker further urged party members and supporters to remain united in this time of grief, emphasizing the importance of upholding the values and principles that the late chairman stood for.

He also called for prayers for the deceased’s family, asking for strength and comfort as they navigate this period of loss.

“Barr. Omodewu’s legacy of service, dedication, and leadership will continue to inspire us. His memory will remain a guiding light as we strive to continue the work he was so passionate about,” he added.
