RCCG GO, Adeboye loses son

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has lost his first son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

The 42-year-old Adeboye, who took after the revered cleric, died in his sleep on Wednesday evening in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based.

The Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35, Adeboye, as learnt, had ministered the previous day.

He was said to have retired to his bed, but did not wake up.

“He was not sick and did not complain of anything before the incident. Pastors in the church were summoned to pray for him, all to no avail,” a source said, according to the information scooped from the Punch

Mega Icon Magazine, however gathered that there are speculations that the late Pastor Dare Adeboye may eventually succeed his father due to his activeness, dedication and above all; he was well loved by both the members and leaders of the church.
