Ramadan: Pray, work for unity, peace – Seyi Makinde

Oyo State Governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde has urged Muslim faithfuls in Oyo state and Nigeria as a whole to work and pray for the progress of the state and the country.

Contained in a release signed by his spokesman, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Governor Elect stated that the unabated kidnapping, insecurity and rising unemployment in the country deserve our collective efforts to salvage the country from the precipice of virtual peril.

He said hard work and prayers are the only way out of this untold dilemma in which we have found ourselves.

Makinde prayed to Allah that this Ramadan activities will greatly reduce all vices that are inimical to the progress and unity of this great country
