President Buhari Mourns Former Minister, Anthony Anenih

NIGERIA’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday extended his condolences to the Anenih family on the demise of its patriarch, Chief Anthony Anenih.

Buhari, who also commiserated with the government and people of Edo State and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) described the late Anenih as a frontline figure in the annals of the country’s political history.

Anenih died on Sunday at the age of 85

The President affirmed that across the political spectrum of Nigeria, Chief Anenih was known for his strong views on issues pertaining to the unity and stability of the nation.

He prayed for the repose of his soul and also asked that God grants the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
