Popular Nigerian Singer, Banky W Reacts to Buhari’s Comment On Lazy Youths

OUTSTANDING Nigerian singer, Banky W, has reacted to a recent comment by President Muhammadu Buhari which generated public outrage.

President Buhari had earlier criticised the attitude of some Nigerian youth, describing them as lazy, uneducated, and want free education, housing, healthcare among others.

He was quoted during a panel appearance with world leaders at the Commonwealth Business Forum held in London.

The President’s comment has attracted widespread criticisms from Nigerians. A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Governor Ayo Fayose, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, and others condemning the comment.

However, in a recent post on Instagram, Thursday, Banky W expressed his thoughts, just as he urged Nigerian youths to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

“So apparently, this is what our President thinks about ‘a lot of the Nigerian youth’. What do you guys think?”, the artist asked his fan.

“INEC will not count your tweets. Let’s turn the month of May into #PVCMay.

“The registration period will end LONG before the elections come, so if you think you can wait until next year, you are wrong”, he urged his audience.
