PHOTOS: Saka, Jaywon, Danfo-Drivers, Konga, others thrills fans at Ilaji Resort

What was relatively a normal day on Sunday morning at Akanran town and it’s environs turned out to be an explosive day ever as fans of music lovers in Ibadan, the Oyo state were treated to the best of Nigeria hip-hop tunes during the musical concert tagged ‘Jumabee and friends’.

It was a concert that featured some of Nigerian A-list entertainers who stormed Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, the venue of the concert, and gave music lovers in Ibadan the best of live performances.

The likes of Kennis music sensation, Jaywon; MTN ambassador and evergreen entertainer, Afees Oyetoro popularly known as Saka; the ageless Danfo Drivers, the E-ti-won-si Konga Crooner, Lawal Konga; the daughter of the Nigerian Reggae legend, Ras Kimono, Oge Kimono and other up coming but highly talented musicians gave the audience the thrill of a life-time.

The concert which was billed to start on Sunday afternoon did not start until the evening based on ‘logistic problem’ as fans waited patiently to witness their favourite artistes perform live on stage who held them spell bound all night long the moment they mounted the stage one after the other.

Jumabee, the Lagos based musician who was the brain behind the concert also made use of the facilities at Ilaji Resort to shoot the video of his next album.

Expressing his happiness over the facilities witnessed at Ilaji Resort, Afeees Oyetoro aka Saka, thanked the owner of Ilaji Resort on behalf of the organisers of Jumabee and friends concert, Chief Dotun Sanusi, for the opportunity given and for coming up with a unique product in Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort which according to him is one of its kind in Nigeria.

He, therefore, pledged his supports to the management of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort with a view to ensuring that more awareness is created for the Resort as soon as he gets back to Lagos state.
